Seeing Spots?

Ok, so I've been a bit quiet the last few days, you know how it goes -real life gets in the way of crafting. Hmph! Anway, I was supposed to be working last night(proper work that is), but I'd had a few bits delivered from Stampin' Up! and I couldn't resist having a play. And here's what I made - Ta da!!

These little beauties were wisked up in a few minutes - aren't they lovely? I came across these Post it Note Key Chains when Linda pointed me in the direction of Angie Juda's Stamping' Academy . Absolutely brilliant they are and I've given them all away today. It's a good excuse to make more I reckon.

I used the scallop, 1 3/8" & 1 1/4" punches along with the 'Seeing Spots' stamps. Every time I use a set it becomes my favourite! Ha! The inks were Certainly Celery, Real Red and Pixie Pink, and the co-ordinating cardstock was just some oddments I had lying around.

Flower Power

I love spring it's my favourite time of year and although we're not quite there yet, it's always fun making cards with flowers on them.
Here I've used the Pick a Petal set again with the pastels range of inks and certainly celery ribbon for the stem and leaves. All the petals and the centre has been mounted on the dimensionals again. The background cardstock is from DCWV the 'Nannas kids' mat stack.
Ta for looking. :)

Pick a Petal

Another quickie this time using the 'Pick a Petal' set. Stamped with Real Red, pretty in pink, almost amythst and apricot appeal. The main card was whisper white and the cardstock strip was pretty in pink versamarked with a stamp from seeing dots. I'm waiting on my corner rounder so I improvised and used my scalloped scissors. As I'm a bit short on sentiments I used an odd one that was lying around - as you do. The ribbon was just an odd bit I had too. After I cut each petal out I curled them round a pen and mounted them using the dimensionals. I must say that the dimensions are brill! Don't you just hate it when you can't get the backing off the little blighters? Well that doesn't happen with these hexagonal wonders, they ease off like a dream.
Ta for looking,
Jo :)

Simply Said

I had another little play last night with the 'simply said' stamp set. I bought this set from Linda's workshop a few weeks ago and it's beautiful, mind you I've always had a bit of a passion for hearts. I stamped the whisper white cardstock base with the one of the 'seeing spots' stamps using the Pretty in Pink stamp pad to start. The Pretty in Pink cardstrip was stamped using the versamark (I just love that effect) and each of the hearts were stamped with basic black, real red and of course the pretty in pink again. The sentiment is also in the 'simply said' set. Keep watching as I've got lots planned! :)
