A little Sneak
I'm off to a Scrapbook Retreat in a few weeks and I've made something for the pre-retreat challenge. The challenge must include stamping so of course I've had to use SU! products! :) Here's a little sneak of what I've made and the full monty will be available to see around 11th May.

And some more....
A few more I did last night. I have to say I pinched a few ideas from Jenny's amazing blog Stamping Moments (hope you don't mind Jenny), such as the eyelets for wheels in the first card and the grouping of the flowers in the second. Jenny's cards are a-maze-ing!!
Ok, so back to the cards here, the first set is Loads of Love (loaned by Louise - thanks Lou and I'll get them back to you or Karen tomorrow). And the other card was using the stamps in the 'Simply Sent' set, which is the one on offer for April with 10% off.
I know I keep saying it, but honestly Stampin' Up! rubber stamps are beautiful and I would never be able to choose my absolute fave as I love 'em all! Oh and I musn't forget all the beautifully co-ordinated cardstock, patterened papers and embellishments. You can view the online catalogue here. So go on, treat yourself, they really are fantastic!

Simply Said
It's been awhile since I last posted but last night I actually sat and had some 'me time' to do some cards. Here's a couple I made using the 'simply said' set. It's so versatile and I love it! Especially with some glitter!

Simply Sent - April's Promotion
During April Stampin' Up! have a 10% discount on the Simply Sent Kits. I've used the 'Senging Happy Thoughts' kit which is perfect for a beginner just starting out or as a fantastic present for someone. In the set you get all you need to make 10 cards with everything cut to size and an instruction booklet on how to make them. There's glitter, glue pen, 3 ink spots, brads, ribbon, dimensionals, glue dots and of course a set of 6 gorgeously cute stamps. The stamps are also die cut so all you have to do is stick and stamp! Perfect!!
This afternoon I had a spare hour to just do nothing (very rare not having a husband and little one around), so I took this lovely kit downstairs for a change to keep our little pup company and created these cards. I made a different one too but the light was going so I didn't think it was worth getting the camera out. The stamp set alone is fabulous and can be used over and over.
Can't wait now for my next workshop to show everyone what they can make - I just love Stampin' Up! products! :)

Make 'n Take
This week I've had two workshops. The first one with 3 customers and on Monday there was twelve. Very daunting to be honest but once I got going I wasn't too bad. It's surprising how much there is to get through. There's so many lovely products I want to show and promote and I covered a fair bit.
I managed to fit in a demonstration followed by a make 'n take which worked out quite well. Only four people did the make 'n take but they loved it. This is what they made....
Stamps Sets - Seeing Spots
Cardstock - Barely Banana, Pretty in Pink & Whisper White
Inks - Pretty in Pink
Ribbon - Whisper White Grograin
Designer Patterend Paper - Certainley Celery
and Brads and Corner Punch
I knocked this up on the Monday afternoon before the workshop so I was pleased it went down well and wasn't too difficult to make. I demostrated how to make a scalloped edge with the corner punch which they loved.
If you would like a workshop or to just place an order, please email me at jodumbleton@aol.co.uk I can taylor your workshop to your needs for either cardmaking or scrapbooking. No obligation, just a fun evening of creativity.
Thanks and have a great weekend!
Jo :)
