Horton & Chalbury Christmas Fair

It was another event today at the Horton & Chalbury Christmas Fair. Mum was there with me again and we both had a fabulous time!

I took some better photos this time.

This first one is of my lovely Mum. She's an amazing support to me and I can honestly say I couldn't do these events without her. Whether it be the catering for an all dayer or promoting my business, she's an absolute super star. Not bad for a lady in her 70's either.

Love ya Mum.

I've more Convention photos to show you later.

See ya then!

Team Max Ladies Evening

I've literally just got back from a fantastic Ladies Evening for Team Max and I'm pooped! My feet hurt so much (*note to self - don't wear heeled boots to these events) they honestly feel like they're on fire, but it was all worth it.

The whole of the Community Centre was taken over with an array of stalls from nail treatments, fitness, cooking, crafts, oh my gosh, the list goes on. I didn't get chance to see them all, mainly because Mum and I were pretty busy ourselves.

A very nice lady offered to take some photos of us before the doors opened.
We'd sold a fair bit before opening!

There's not much left of this now and I've another event on Sunday...eeek!
Better get my finger out tomorrow and make more. It's going to be a looooong day!

My new classes will be held at the same venue so if you're interested in coming along either on a Monday morning or Tuesday evening every fortnight, please visit my 'CLASSES' page at the top of my blog under the header, for more information.

Right, my feet need soaking before bed.

Have a good one a see ya soon!

At last! Roomie Gifts

They've made it to the blog at last! My wonderful roomie gifts given to me by Jules and SJ.

First up is this gorgeous mini frame from Jules. Isn't it so cute and pretty? It's pride of place in my conservatory.

And then we have these beautiful decorated pegs in the Beau Chateau papers from SJ.

I love these - the giant peg is brill for cards or photos. I think mine will hold a photo, when I can bear to get it out of the beautiful packaging. The mini pegs are really useful too, especially as I use Tombow glue and the pegs will hold my 3D projects together pefectly for those few seconds while it dries. SJ also gave me a scissor sharpener - how lucky was I!

Thank you Jules and SJ - mwah!

I've a stall for Team Max Charity Ladies Evening tonight. I've made lots of stocking fillers to sell so I hope it wll be a good one. Mum is helping me - bless her. I told her I had an SU! apron for her to wear and she got all excited! Mum's not a Demo, she's not interested in papercrafting, but she loves seeing what everyone makes and LOVES to do the catering at all my events - and flippin lovely it is too. She considers herself part of the team though and I guess she is, because I really couldn't do it without her.

If you're local to Wimborne and fancy popping over, we'd love to see you. Entrance is £3 on the door with a glass of wine.
See ya tomorrow!

Convention 2011, 3D Swap

p.s. Meant to say - the hearts were made with the Petal Cone Die. Perfect every time!

While waiting for the sun to come out I'll show you my 3D swap.

This was for an organised swap on In Love With Stamping. (The link is on my left hands sidebar.)

There were 11 of us in the group and my gosh, what fabulous swaps I had in return!

This was mine....
....and all packaged up.

Well.....while I had the sewing machine out I thought, why not. The fabric is Candy Cane - loving those spots and stripes!

They're stuffed with very expensive lavender. Not completely though, there's other stuffing in there too.

My return swaps will again follow when that sun appears.

See ya soon!
