Field Flowers

Ok, so at long last I've got something to show you. These gorgeous cards were designed for one of last months card classes using 'Field Flowers'.

Field Flowers is a 2-step stamp set that brings the flower images to life by stamping one image on top of the other to give that 3D effect.

 

 

Absolutely love this set. So easy to use and the finished results are stunning. Lets just say it was a popular choice for those that did the class.

 

The Stamp-a-ma-jig is the secret weapon to giving you precision stamping - an easy gadget that allows you to align each image perfectly.

Another from 'a Rose is a Rose'

Last week whilst pondering a technique I could show at Linda's workshop, I saw the most gorgeous card made by Julie over at In Love With Stamping. Isn't it beautiful?! So I 'cased' the idea and came up with this.

A Rose is a Rose is a 'Two Step' stamping set and is aided with the Stamp-a-ma-jig (SAMJ). It's a very clever little gadget that will enable you to stamp on stamp with precision. Once you've cut out those beautiful roses and leaves, they look fantastic 3D'd onto a card. I was going to add some Dazzling Diamonds...in fact I think I'll go back and do that now - love a bit of bling.

The colours for the card are, Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, Old Olive and the sentiment was stamped in Basic Grey.

A Rose is a Rose

I really should be doing the dreaded *H* word today but I wanted to show you a set that if you're an SU! blog hopper, you will no doubt start to see a lot of. It's called 'a Rose is a Rose'. For those that like to do the cutting out thing, which I do although I'm not a *decoupage* person, then this is ideal. The stamps are a '2 Step' set which basically means you build the image with 2 stamps and 2 colours - also helped with that clever gadget the 'stamp-a-ma-jig'.

I can't help but stick to these gorgeous colours of red and green, but I did try to change it slightly by using Real Red instead of Ruby Red and Certainly Celery instead of Old Olive. I also used some scraps from the Holiday Treasures Designer papers (again) - I can't bare to throw even the smallest of scraps of theses gorgeous papers away! The sentiment is from the Level 1 Hostess set - Best Yet and it's stamped in one of the Frames with a Flourish set.

Pretty and Bright

Another card using the fabulous Stamp-a-ma-jig. It really does make stamping so much easier and obviously, I have less waste. This card was inspired from a video tutorial over on Kristina Werner's blog - the video is here. A fabulous place to visit and she has some wonderful ideas - just love her MACM vids (Make A Card Monday).

The stamp sets are Simply Said, Seeing Spots and the c/s and inks are Tempting Turquoise, Pixie Pink Apricot Appeal and whisper white.
