Scrapbook Club layouts

Last week was the first Monthly Scrapbook Club which started really well! We had a mix of experienced and beginners and everyone went home with 2, 12x12 pages using this months Kit Club 'Love Letters'. Layout #1

Love those butterflies from the Sale-a-bration set 'Bliss'.

Layout #2. Next months kit is 'Elegant Soiree'. If you'd like to come along to the next club it will be on Thursday 31st March, 10am - 12.30pm. More details can be found on my Events page or contact me at jodumbleton@aol.co.uk.

Catch up Day

Today is catch up day. Life as usual has been non stop with the new Scrapbook kit club and blog, plus the new Monthly Scrapbook club which was last Thursday. If you're interested in coming along, there are details on the Events page. Everyone made 2 pages, which I'll show tomorrow, but today I've another card using 'Bliss'. This set has definately become my favourite for this years Sale-a-bration even though I said 'Sweet Stummer' was.....mind you, they're all fantastic to be honest. Anyway, I have a wedding to go to in May. I love weddings and haven't been to one in years! We've received the invite so an acceptance card had to be made, not that I've made one before.

I've clear embossed the large image onto whisper white cardstock after I stamped 'acceptance' in Sahara Sand and matched the card base with Pink Pirouette. The alphabets I used are 'Monogram Sweet' and 'Just Perfect'.

Very simple but elegant. Now to start planning a special wedding card!

New Monthly Scrapbook Kit Club

Scrapbooking is really my first love in papercrafting. The care and attention I put into each page may take a few hours but when I've finished my masterpiece (in my eyes anyway) I get a real sense of achievement and the best part about it is, I get to keep the page for myself! Even Jake understands how wonderful it is to record our memories and often spends time reminiscing over the 6 years of his life that Ive recorded in this way. So to kick start myself back into scrapbooking again I have put together a 3 Monthly Scrapbook Kit Club available to you.

The cost is £45*

which includes:-

3 Monthly Kits

1 FREE Sale-a-bration Stamp Set

EXCLUSIVE access to an Inspiration Scrapbook Blog where you will see projects I've created using the kits plus tips and techniques.

A monthly Challenge to win a Prize

And if you're local to Wimborne, you can attend the monthly Scrapbook club for FREE!

On top of that, for a further £12.50 you can purchase one of the beautiful 12 x 12 Albums (usual price £16.95)

Real Red Polka Dot

So Saffron Houndstooth

Old Olive Leaves

The blog is already set up and I've projects ready to show you. Whether you're a beginner or a more experience scrapper, all the layouts will hopefully inspire you and I'll be there to answer any questions and offer advice.

The offer is for a limited time until Saturday 12th February so please email me at jodumbleton@aol.co.uk if you would like to join this excellent value Kit Club or for more info.

* I do need a minimum of 10 people to sign up to the kits to get the best value for you and no payment will be taken until that time. Postage to you will be charged at cost.

Birthday Girl

No not me, my very best friend Karen,
Happy Birthday Karen!
I've used the Sale-a-bration stamp set 'Bliss' along with the Elegant Soiree Designer Papers - they're so beautiful. Yesterday morning I did a bit of baking and made some Oaty biscuits (recipe from Helen, one of my downline) and bagged them up with a tag to look pretty for Karen. Typical of me, I didn't take a photo. At least you can enjoy the card and sweet little birthday cake made with a battery tea light for her. How cute! The tea light cake was a project at Convention shown by Pam Morgan but I've also seen them on Splitcoaststampers. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and see ya soon! ETA. Karen has posted the cookies I made on her blog if you would like to have a look, here.

No Stamping..boo hoo!

For those of you who know me, you would of heard all about my little surgery I had last week. Nothing drastic at all and I suppose it's classed as cosmetic surgery. I've had.... laser eye surgery. After 30 years of wearing glasses I can now see! I feel a lot younger for it I have to say and something I would highly recommend, in the hands of a reputible company I will add. There's a few dodgy ones out there that I wouldn't of touched for love nor money. Anyway, my eyes aren't fully back to normal as yet and although I can see distances crystal clear, my near vision is a little unfocused. There's me thinking all would be perfect straight away, which it more or less is, but the reading and crafting has been rather frustrating. So, I was all set to do a bit of stamping at the weekend but I just couldn't do it. I did however manage to make this gorgeous tall box with not a spot of stamping on it.

I do love my boxes and this was inspired by the ones I made last year here, here and here. Blimey I didn't realise I'd made that many and still no instructions! I promise to do them next week without fail and this new box will be a Mothers Day class in March with instructions afterwards.

I've now bought myself a daylight lamp which came yesterday so I'm happy to be back into my stamping.

Thanks for stopping by. There'll be more Sale-a-bration inspiration to follow soon...
