Flower Daisy Die #2

A bit of Spring eye candy for you today on this glorious day!

These aren't new creations, in fact the bonnet was made last spring inspired by the sunshine and the pink flowers are table decoration made for last years 12 hour Retreat.

These were real show stoppers on Friday night for the TeamMAX Ladies Evening. If you'd like to have a go at making them, my tutorial from last year can be found here, and if you wish to purchase the supplies email jodumbleton@aol.co.uk.

Have fun and enjoy!

Easter Carrot Video Tutorial

At the TeamMAX Ladies Evening on Friday I made these Easter Carrots to sell.
I made over 50 of them and they sold like hot cakes!

The idea came from Pinterest here and it's basically a Sour Cream container.

If you'd like to see how I made mine, I've put together a Video Tutorial to show you how.

Sorry it finished rather abruptly at the end. I had to edit the end bit off as I had a fit of the giggles when the Rhinestone flew across the room! I've still not found where it went.

Anyway, enjoy!

Create a Cupcake

This weeks card class used 'Create a Cupcake'.

Inspired by Jules who made the awning card a few weeks back at one of her classes, and the colour combo of Pool Party, Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo & Chocolate Chip which reminds me of ice cream for some reason.
The awning card takes a bit of time to put together but the end result is so worth it.
And we made a little surprise box too.
Ta Dah!
A battery tea light inside dressed as a cute cake.
Loved this mini project.

I've another class tonight and a busy week in prepartion for a Ladies Evening in Wimborne in support of Team Max.

The first 100 people will be getting goodie bags!

Hope to see you there.

Beautiful Butterflies with 'You are Loved'

It was my MIL's Birthday on Wednesday. She is the most amazing lady that would do anything for anyone. I love her as much as my own Mum and if you've ever met her or get to meet her, you'll understand why. And she makes amazing cakes!

I don't usually do bigger cards than A6 but this one I made for her is A5. I felt it needed to be extra special for a very special lady.

Stamped with 'You are Loved' from the Spring Mini and the butterflies are die cut from the 'Beautiful Butterflies' Bigz Die.

Although 'You are Loved' is a Valentine set it can be used for lots of different occasions which I've done many times. It's actually my most used set in the Mini without a doubt. I've even used it with last night's 'Simply Adorned' Class. I'll show you that next week.

Have a fantastic weekend!

Tincleton 2012

Last weekend I spent a crafty weekend back at Tincleton in the depths of Dorset with my wonderful friends Julie S, Anna, Ellen, Fleur, Ali, Julie A & Sue. Unfortunately there were a few unable to make it this time because of other commitments but hope they will be with us again in October. We usually go every year but we have such an fantastic time we felt we couldn't wait a year to go again. I'm very lucky to have these ladies as amazing friends and talk about laugh, well we didn't stop all weekend! It was self catering accomodation and we all mucked in with cooking etc. We ate far too much but hey, isn't that what these weekends are about??

Most of us are scrapbookers so we're keen to take good photos that we can scrap. Tincleton is the most beautiful place which used to be a farm. It has it's own small lake which honestly is the perfect country setting. Every time we go we always have perfect weather!

Anyway, this photo says it all for me. Great friends, fantastic company and a laugh a minute.
Rock on October when we shall do it all for the fourth time!

It's my MIL's birthday today so I'll be back later with the card I've made for her.

Everything Eleanor

Do you like my new blog banner? I've always kept it blank but after talking to a lovely lady on Facebook I played around with one of my photo's and, ta da! It's done!

Everything Eleanor was the class from 2 weeks ago made in 2 different colour combos.

The Monday moring group made this one in Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz & Sahara Sand.

And the Tuesday evening group had Baja Breeze, Pretty in Pink & Crumb Cake.

Both really pretty and the Seam Binding Ribbon adds such a soft delicate touch to the cards.

Right, off to tackle my sons bedroom which I can't get into because of the mess.

See ya soon!

Mocha Morning

Where does the time go?! I've had a busy few weeks with workshops, scrapbook club, my Open House last Friday and then card class yesterday and tonight. Oh, and the ribbon bundles in my previous post here which have been VERY popular. If you have been debating whether to go for Bundle #1, #2 or all 3, they are stll available to purchase. Just send me an email at jodumbleton@aol.co.uk stating which bundle you would like and I'll have them in the post by the end of the week.

My Open House last Friday was absolutely amazing! No photo's I'm afraid as I was so busy demonstrating and chatting all day. There was a constant stream of customers through the door and both Mum and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

'Save the date' for the next OPEN HOUSE on Friday 1st June!

Yesterday morning was card class and we made another of the acetate boxes with cards.

I'd seen a photo on Pinterest which I took inspiriation from. I can't for the life of me find it now and I've looked through this ladies blog to almost and year and still I can't find it. I must give credit to Artistic Avenger as the front card is a complete case of hers.

The black and cream theme looks so classy and the flocked paper from Mocha Morning Speciality paper really is absolutely stunning. There's a mix of stamp sets on these but the main one is 'Creative Elements'. The black card has a black heat embossed design on it along with the black butterfly, and the flower on the other card is the Blossom Party Die which can be found in the MINI catalogue. My love affair with the Antique brads will never fade either. I'm using them on most of my projects at the moment and my customers are loving them too.

It's another full house at Card Class tonight making this!

(The acetate boxes I've had for ages which I bought from someone who was doing a share, so I'm sorry I can't provide info on where to get them.)

See ya soon!
